Pressure can be surface level to a deep tissue massage, depending on needs. Sports Massage: Used normally to benefit athletes either in training or in need of maintenance. This is an active massage, increasing flexibility and range of motion in the body. It is also good for rehibiltation from injury or illness. Deep Tissue: Your therapist will dive deep into the muscle using deep pressure to relieve adhesions and release sore muscles. This can be added to most massages. Lomi Lomi: This is a Hawaiian Traditional massage that has been passed down from kahunas generation to generation. Using a dance like motion around the body to promote circulation and spiritual healing. Light pressure, with long flowing strokes.
