Gailla Deiters has been a certified colon therapist since May 1989 through the Wood Hygienic Institute, the first state licensed school of colon therapy in the U.S. Additionally, she is certified through the International Association of Colon-Hydrotherapy, (I-ACT). 2025 marks 36 years as a certified colon therapist. She also mentors other certified colon therapists with continued education on the microbiome and its relation to health, the care of clients with varying health concerns, auto-immune illness and its relation to the gut microbiome, and identifying probiotics by looking at genus, species, and strain.
