Our approach to Osteopathy is based on the teachings of Andrew Taylor Still, and one of his early students, William Garner Sutherland. Dr. Still teaches that the Health of the individual is based on a self healing and self maintaining mechanism, and it is the job of the osteopath to support and enable this inherent capability. This support is offered primarily through a manual treatment approach addressing muscles, bones, fascia, the bioelectric system etc. The objective being to allow the patient to express without restriction to their indwelling Health.
